The Volkswagen ID.3 is not just the first of its kind among Volkswagen’s new electric cars, it’s a game-changer for electric mobility. The ID.3 keeps using a strong electric motor (like an engine) with 150kW power and 310Nm torque, making it powerful, especially in the top models.
Internationally, there are two choices of battery packs: one is 58kWhthe other is 77kWh. We’re still waiting to know which one will be offered in Australia, but it’s likely to be the bigger one. Inside, the dashboard still has a digital screen that shows information, while the screen for entertainment and other stuff is now bigger at 12 inches instead of 10 inches. This new screen is designed to be easier to use, making the ID.3 even more user-friendly. The ID.3 is set to feature an 11KW power limit, ensuring compatibility with all our 22KW EV charging stations and cables.
