Chery, the Chinese state-owned automobile manufacturer, has recently made a significant comeback in the Australian EV market through a factory-backed operation. Headquartered in Wuhu, Anhui, China, Chery is poised for expansion, planning to diversify its model range in 2024. The introduction of a new flagship EV SUV Omoda 5 EV will be the brand’s first electric vehicle in Australia. All of our EV Charging Chargers and Cables will work with Chery EVs since they have Type 2 charging ports.
Previously, Chery Australia announced plans to introduce a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version of the Tiggo 7 Pro and a PHEV version of the Tiggo 8 Pro in Australia. However, the launch timing for these models has not been confirmed.
