The Destination Charging Across Victoria (DCAV) program has successfully concluded its application process and made significant strides towards promoting electric vehicle adoption in the region. With the allocation of $5 million in grant funding, the program awarded grants to 32 applicants. This investment will lead to the installation of 141 strategically located EV fast-charging stations, spanning 116 high-use areas and popular tourist destinations throughout both regional and metropolitan Victoria.
The DCAV program’s comprehensive approach aims to facilitate convenient and accessible charging infrastructure, ultimately encouraging more individuals to embrace sustainable transportation options in the state.
