Mini Electric motor produces 179 hp with no lag in performance, and the no-noise ride makes it better than its rivals. It can get from 0 to 100 km in 7.3 seconds but also feels faster in traffic areas. A 32.6 kWh battery pack aims at people who live in cities. It is not suitable for long-range, fast rides. With a DC fast charger, it can charge in a little time from 0 to 80 per cent in just 35 minutes. Charging at home with a 7.4kW wallbox charger will take 12 hours.
The steering is a multifunction sport controller. It is the highlight of Mini Electric as it is very responsive, and with this, it is easy to make turns and change directions. The switches and buttons present on the dashboard are well-marked and logically placed for easy use. Physical controls are for the ventilation system, so you do not have to go deeper into the touchscreen infotainment system.
