The BMW iX xDrive40 may be the best from the iX lineup. The 322 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque seem well-judged due to that consideration. The 0-100 kWh sprint in 6.1 seconds, while the top speed is 200 km/h. A larger battery might theoretically extend the BMW iX xDrive40’s range, as it has the same motors as its 50-volt counterpart but with less current.
Battery & Range: When fully charged, the xDrive 40’s 71-kWh battery provides a range of 425 kilometres. A 400-mile range is possible, but it’s still greater than many other vehicles on the market. With two electric motors, the XDrive40 becomes an all-wheel drive. The BMW iX’s 200 kW DC fast chargers provide incredible charging speeds. That’s quicker than Tesla’s fastest model. The BMW iX can get a charge of 10% to 80% in about 31 minutes at this rate. As an option, the xDrive40 may charge 90% of its capacity in only 10 minutes.
