Polestar 4 Home Charging Speed

The Polestar 4 supports AC charging at up to 22kW. This means that when using a compatible 22kW charger, you can achieve the maximum charging rate for the vehicle. However, if you use a 7kW charger, the charging speed will be limited to 7kW due to the charger’s own output capacity.

Note: EV battery size impacts charging time. Larger batteries take longer to charge due to higher capacity, but offer longer distances between charges, potentially shortening total charge time. Low temperatures and fast chargers may slightly increase charging duration, but less relevant in mild climates.

Worst experience ever. My husband ordered a fast charger which showed "in stock" online, but wasn't. Money ($989!!!) was taken out of our bank account instantly. 4 weeks no product and correspondence from this company. After speaking to Emma (sales/accounts) was told the item is on backorder. Requested a refund. After 2 weeks no money was refunded and we were told by Emma to call our bank... Our problem not theirs!!! Spoke to bank which advised to call the company before proceeding with "dispute". Spoke to Emma (again) who referred me to Mohammed (person "in charge") who advised that the refund "failed" (2 weeks ago)  and they've done another one expecting us to wait another 5-10 business days for a refund, which will probably "fail again".  5 working days so far and still no refund...

Recently installed a smart mini prov Teison EV wall charger from EVpower house.( comes with a 2 years warranty) Decided to go with the option of wall socket which allow me to get a 7kwh 10 meter cable to plug in. Very handy when you go on a long trip and you need to BYO cable😏...With this charger you can set the amount of power you put into the battery. Very handy when you generate your own solar. Mohamad and Emma were very helpfull in setting up the system. Would highly recommend EV POWER HOUSE!

The charger works fine and they even refunded $150 from the original quote. I tried EVSE but they were far more expensive. All in all I could not be happier with the service EV Power House provided.
