The aim of Queensland’s Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure Scheme is to enhance the profitability of EV charging stations and increase the number of public EV fast chargers in the charging network.
Details regarding the successful applicants of the 2023 round of the scheme and the locations where the fast charging electric vehicle infrastructure will be erected can be found on the Queensland Government website. Eligible entities were able to apply for co-funding of up to $3 million of the Total Project Value (TPV) through an expressions of interest (EOI) application process for the Scheme. The Queensland Government has pledged $10 million towards the Scheme.
