Usage
An EV charging station is a device that is connected to the AC grid and provides AC power to the electric vehicle’s on-board charger. It can charge different types of electric vehicles based on different voltage levels. The input end of the EV charging station is directly connected to the AC grid, while the output end is equipped with a charging plug or socket that is used to charge the electric vehicle.
The main function of the EV charging station is to offer smart control through the mobile app. This control includes scheduled charging, start, and stop charging, memorable current adjustment, plug-and-play mode, and mobile app charging status display. When connected to a Wi-Fi or 4G network, additional features include saving charging records on the cloud, checking the charging status on the mobile app, viewing, and updating the PIN code, firmware updates, and controlling multiple TEISON EV Chargers wallboxes.

Safety Instructions
Please observe the following principles and regulations to ensure your safety while installing and using chargers:
– Before using the charger, make sure to have a qualified electrician check the electrical infrastructure for suitability and compliance with charger specifications.
– Properly ground the unit before turning it on to avoid accidents.
– Always conduct a visual inspection for damage before charging. Ensure that the contact area of the charging plug is free from dirt and moisture, the charging cable is free of cuts or abrasions, and the cable outlet of the charger is firmly seated.
– Unauthorized modifications, changes, or repairs of the charger are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate exclusion from the warranty.
– Do not use the charger near volatile gases or flammable objects.
– Keep children away from the TEISON EV Charger as it is not meant for their use.
– Disconnect the charger only by the plug and not the cable. Do not disconnect the charger during charging.
– Only remove the charging label by the plug and not the cable of the power outlet.
– Change the accessory adapters only when the power supply is disconnected.
– Stop using the TEISON EV Charger immediately if charging failure or abnormality occurs.
– Do not use the equipment in thunder and lightning weather. Protect it from moisture, rain, sunlight, and corrosive environments. Do not submerge the AC charging device in water.
Remember, this product is only used for charging electric vehicles and should not be used for any other purposes.

Transportation and Storage
It is strictly forbidden to use the equipment during thunder and lightning weather. It should be protected from moisture, rain, sunlight, and corrosive environments. It is also strictly forbidden to submerge the AC charging device in water. This product is solely intended for charging electric vehicles and should not be used for any other purposes.

Safety Tip
Please note the following safety tips when using the charger:
– The charger should not be installed or repaired by the user as it contains no user-serviceable parts. All repairs should be done under the guidance of a professional salesperson.
– The installation, maintenance, and servicing of the charger should only be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with applicable local regulations.
– The charger should be protected from any external impact.
– Appropriate precautions should be taken with electronic medical implants.
– Before cleaning the unit, disconnect the main service power to your charger. Do not use cleaning solvents to clean any part of the charger. Use a clean, dry cloth to remove accumulated dust and dirt.
– Do not over-tighten the connecting cable while it is connected to the vehicle.
– Ensure that the charging cable is positioned in such a way so that it will not be stepped on, tripped over, or subjected to damage or stress. Also, do not close your garage door on the charging cord.
Installation steps
For convenient operation, the EV charger’s lowest and highest point should be installed between 0.4m-1.5m above the ground.
Installing Tips
This EV Charger is equipped with internal Residual current protection: TYPE B (AC 30MA + DC 6 MA).
External RCCB is required: Type A or Type B according to local regulations.

Getting Your APP Ready
But before you install the app, make sure you’ve checked the following:
- Ensure that the Bluetooth service is turned on in the mobile or tablet where you plan to install the app.
- Make sure that the location service is also turned on.
- Stay within a close distance of your charger (less than 5 meters) to allow the Bluetooth signal to be detected.
- Make sure that you have a strong Wi-Fi signal at the location where you have the charger Installed.
- Ensure that your mobile device is linked to your household Wi-Fi signal. Please note that only a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal is accepted.
- Keep your household Wi-Fi password handy before you start configuring the charger network.
Download “MyTeison” from the App Store, for your iOS, Android, or Harmony device after you power on your Newly installed EV Charger.
Setup MyTeison App
Before using the app, you need to grant it permission to access your location and Bluetooth.
Home: Smart Mini OCPP charger for home users with Bluetooth and remote control.
Commercial: to be used for commercial use in public EV charging stations to manage operations and stations.
To use MyTeison App, please create an account by clicking “Register” link then provide all necessary details and hit Register button.
After creating the account, you will receive an email confirmation. Please activate your account by clicking on the link provided in the email.
Once you have activated the account, log in with the same credentials. Please ensure that all the information is accurate and complete.
- The “Local Devices” list allows you to access your devices directly” controlled by Bluetooth connection”. Simply press “Use immediately” to enter the EV charger page.
- The “Online Devices” list displays all online chargers linked to your account, along with relevant information such as device name, serial number, status, and type. To access an online charger’s user interface, press “Use immediately”.
- To configure a new TEISON EV Charger via the web, click “+Add device”.
- The “Devices selected” area helps you locate the correct charging station for your needs.
Manage MyTeison APP
You can Get to your APP settings by clicking on three horizontal lines in the top left corner of the home page of MyTeison APP.

Add Device
From the About APP, you could check the MyTeison APP version and Update.” This to Update the APP and not to Update Your TEISON Charger Firmware”.
From Rates, you can set and Update your Charging Rate per KWh.
You need to Set Your Country Currency.
Those Information will help to calculate the cost on your charging records.
Click On The APP logo “Avatar” to get to:

- Change Password
- Logout
Change Password:
To Be able to change the password you need to Enter both the Current and the New Password.
Connect Your EV Charger to Wi-Fi
When you power on your newly installed TEISON EV Charger, you will be able to control it through the app via Bluetooth connection. Please ensure that your Bluetooth is turned on and that you are standing close to the charger. This is known as a local device.
But to get the most out of your New EV Charger it’s required to get connected online using a Wi-Fi connection.
To configure your TEISON EV Charger ‘s network, follow these steps:
- On the App’s Devices Page, select “Use Immediately” for your local device.
- Click the “…” button at the top right corner of the local charger page.
- Select “Config Network“.
- Choose Wi-Fi (only supports 2.4G Wi-Fi): select your household Wi-Fi, and enter your Wi-Fi password, and select the save password option.
- The network configuration will finish in 30 seconds. (If you use the OCPP platform by a third party, it will show success by step 2. You will have to confirm it by your platform.)
- If the configuration is successful, you can name your online charger. And then click on “Start Experience”.
- The device, after successful network configuration, will show in the list as an Online device. (In case it doesn’t pull down the page to refresh the list).
Configure your Local Device
Pin Query
After configuring your network and connecting to the internet, the charger’s plug and play feature remains inactive. This means that no one can access or use the charger unless they are logged in with the same account used to configure your Teison Charger online. However, if you wish to share your Teison charger with someone else without giving them access to your app account, you can use the PIN code feature.
Here’s how you can do it:
- Ask the new user to download and create an account for MyTeison app.
- Request them to turn on Bluetooth on their phone.
- Once your TEISON EV Charger appears on their local devices list, they can immediately click on “Use”.
- They will receive a prompt requesting the PIN number.
- Share this number with them.
- After the new user finishes using your Teison charger, remember to update the PIN number if you don’t want them to use it again.
To set up a PIN code for your charger, follow these steps:
click on Use immediately for your local Device.
Go to local device management by pressing the three dots “…” button on your home page.
Click in Query Pin
You can either copy your current PIN code or refresh it if needed.
The PIN code can be shared with others who need to use the charger, especially if you have multiple users.
Unbinding
If you want to transfer the management of your TEISON Charger to a new account, it is like changing the ownership of your charger.
Warning: please be aware that unbinding the current account will result in the deletion of all the settings and records associated with your TEISON Charger.
Configure your Online Device

It is useful to track your usage, including the number of times it’s been used, the amount of kW drawn to your EV, and the cost of each session.

Remember: that you can export records for a selected period to an Excel file format from the top right corner of the record page
IC Management
Add and activate a new card
- Go to online device management by pressing the “…” button on your home page.
- Select IC management to manage RFID cards.
- At this stage, no cards have been assigned to your Charger yet. To assign a card, simply swipe it on the charging station, wait for the peep sound, and the card should appear on the list.

Manage and Monitor the RFID Cards
In order to set a limit on the amount that can be charged to this card, please click on the “Recharge Energy” option and switch to “Energy Enable”. You will need to input the charging power, ensuring you specify it to two decimal numbers.
You can also view all the power recharging records for the RFID card, as well as see the remaining power and the total recharge power.

Online Device Settings
To access the configuration settings of your TEISON EV Charger, go to the device details screen and tap on “Settings” located at the bottom right corner of the screen (see Screenshot 1). From there, you can adjust and set various options as shown in Screenshot 2, including:
– Working current
– Household current (load balance)
– Time zone
– Off-peak charging
– Solar mode
– Plug and play
Make sure to customize these settings according to your needs to get the most out of your TEISON EV Charger.
Working current
To adjust the maximum available charging current of the EV charger, enter a value between 8A and 32A.
Household Current
It is used for home load balancing; this charger will adjust the charging current based on the maximum available current set for the household.
Warning: This Feature Only works if you have the Solar Optimized unit with the CT Clamp meter installed and configured.
Time Zone
For a better user experience, it is recommended to set your EV Charger firmware time zone to a default time zone.
Off-Peak Charging
To charge your EV during off-peak hours only. You have the option to manually set the range of time periods that you consider as Off-peak hours. By activating the off-peak option, your TEISON EV Charger will not be Charging outside of those peak time periods.
It’s important to note that if you have set your charging preference to off-peak only, you will not be able to charge or schedule charging outside of that period.
Solar Mode
To use the Solar mode, you need to install the CT Meter and connect it to the same Wi-Fi network as the EV charger. For detailed instructions, please refer to the CT Clamp manual.
Solar Mode: Activating this option means that the charger will only work with solar power.
Solar current limit: You can set the minimum remaining current in the solar system to 7A using the Solar current limit. Then, the charger will work.
Boost Mode: You can turn on the Boost Mode to prioritize the use of solar energy. When there isn’t enough solar energy, power from the grid will be withdrawn at the same time.
Solar Mode period: You need to manually set the Solar Mode period. During this time range only, the solar mode will be active.
Attention: It’s important to note that the charge using solar will only start if the surpluses are equal to or more than the solar current limit and if the charge time is within the solar mode period time.
Plug and play
The TEISON EV Charger comes with a convenient feature that allows you to choose its status. When the charger is off, it will remain locked, and you will not be able to start a charging session unless you have access to the myTeison app or the RFID card.
Once the charger is activated, your EV should start charging automatically once you plug it in. You will not need to press start on your app or use the RFID card. The EV will keep charging until one of the following occurs:
– It reaches 100% and the battery is full
– It reaches the SOC that has been set by your EV
– You stop the charging from your EV
– You stop the charger using your myTeison app
– You stop the charging by using the RFID card.
Note: you can’t activate the Plug and play if you have a charging reservation active.
How To Use Your TEISON Charger
Start Charging Your EV
Make sure that your TEISON Charger LED has A solid Blue Colour “Available”.
Then you need to Plug the charger cable into your EV Socket Firmly.
Using Your MyTeison APP
Click On use Immediately on your Online Device – Or Local device” if your Box Not Connected”
The TEISON EV Charger should be at Available status.
Press on the Start Bue button.
The TEISON EV Charger will go in Preparing status, means it waiting for the Comms back from the EV.
The TEISON EV Charger now Charging status, charging session already started and all the current charging session details are ready to be viewed.
Swipe Up the buttom arrow to view the Current session Details like:

Using RFID Card
When you want to start charging your EV, all you have to do is tap your RFID card on the RFID icon at the charger. It will start charging using the same settings on your app. All the information for this charging session will be recorded as activity for this card, and you can check the charging history for any card via IC management
Stop Charging Your EV
Using MyTeison APP
To Stop Charging your EV, simply Tap on the Red Stop Button
The charger will return to Available status when its fully stopped charging.
Now it’s safe to unplug your TEISON EV Charger of your EV.
When you want to stop charging your EV, all you have to do is tap your RFID card on the RFID icon at the charger. It will Stop.
The charger will return to Available status when it’s fully stopped charging and the LED Light will indicate to solid Blue.
Now it’s safe to unplug your TEISON EV Charger of your EV.
Suspended EV
Please note the TEISON EV Charger Box will enter SuspendedEV status in the following circumstances:
- When your EV battery is 100% full.
- When your EV battery reaches the SOC percentage set in your EV settings.
- When you attempt to charge outside the schedule set for your EV.
- When your EV does not respond to a charge request due to it being in sleep mode.
Reserve charging Session
Click On use Immediately on your Online Device – Or Local device” if your Box Not Connected”
Click On The Reserve green middle bottom button.
Reserve Charge:
Please select the “Valid from” and “Valid till” times.
The total time reserved will be displayed as “Duration“.
To activate the reservation charge, toggle the “Reserve charge” button to the right.
Finally, click on the “Reserve charge” button located at the bottom of the page.
When the reserve is activated and saved, a success message will be displayed.
You can return to the charger screen by clicking on the back arrow located in the top left corner of the page.
A Reserved Screen will show all time will the reserve charge is active.
You can’t start any charging session while your TEISON Charger is reserved.
You can cancel the revered for that day, by clicking on the Stop button
When your Reserved time comes, the charging session will start.
You can Stop the charging session at any time by clicking on the Stop Button
Important things to know about Reserve Charge:
Here are some important points you should keep in mind regarding the Reserve Charge feature in your TEISON Charger box:
- If you have your TEISON Charger box in plug-and-play mode, you won’t be able to activate or save a Reserve Charge.
- You can only reserve one Charge at a time.
- Some EVs may go into sleep mode if they are left plugged in for a long time without charging. This means that if the Reserve Charge time comes, the EV won’t start charging and the Charger will display the “Preparing status” or “SuspendedEV Status“.
- If you have already set up a charging schedule for your EV, the Charger won’t start charging when the Reserve Charge time comes.
- The active Reserve Charge will accrue at the same time every day until you deactivate it.
- Please note that you won’t be able to access your local TEISON Charger via Bluetooth while the Charger box is in Reserve mode.
Red Light Troubleshooting
Restore factory settings
The location of the reset button is indicated in the figure below:
To Reset your device, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Press and hold the designated button.
Step 2: While holding the button, turn on the power.
Step 3: When you hear a “D” sound or see the red-light flashing, press the button six times in a row.
Step 4: When the TEISON EV Charger emits a “D” sound or the red-light changes to blue, your device is charging.
Step 5: Power off and restart your TEISON EV Charger.
