BYD ATTO 3 Extended Chargers & Cables Guide

The BYD ATTO 3 Extended Range is a mid-sized electric SUV that early adopters predict will be the next big thing. A gently sloping roofline, small LED headlights, and aerodynamic wheels distinguish the Atto 3’s exterior appearance based on BYD’s current Dragon Face 3.0 design language. A whimsical fitness and musical-inspired concept is carried through to the inside of the Chinese-built EV. This includes red strings on the door cards meant to resemble guitar strings, dumbbell-shaped air vents, and a standard two-tone blue and white interior.

BYD claims a 0-100 km/h time of 7.3 seconds. According to the cautious WLTP standard, the ATTO 3 Extended Range has a 420-kilometre (km) range. Atto 3 Extended also has a Type 2 port for AC charging and CCS2 for rapid DC charging this allows our chargers and cables to be fully compatible.

BYD ATTO 3 Extended Range Home Charging Speed

The BYD Atto 3 Extended has a battery power limit of 7KW. This means that if you use a 22KW charge point, it can only supply 7KW due to the onboard limit. On the other hand, if you charge using a 7KW charger, the charge point would limit the charge and only supply 7KW.

Worst experience ever. My husband ordered a fast charger which showed "in stock" online, but wasn't. Money ($989!!!) was taken out of our bank account instantly. 4 weeks no product and correspondence from this company. After speaking to Emma (sales/accounts) was told the item is on backorder. Requested a refund. After 2 weeks no money was refunded and we were told by Emma to call our bank... Our problem not theirs!!! Spoke to bank which advised to call the company before proceeding with "dispute". Spoke to Emma (again) who referred me to Mohammed (person "in charge") who advised that the refund "failed" (2 weeks ago)  and they've done another one expecting us to wait another 5-10 business days for a refund, which will probably "fail again".  5 working days so far and still no refund...

Recently installed a smart mini prov Teison EV wall charger from EVpower house.( comes with a 2 years warranty) Decided to go with the option of wall socket which allow me to get a 7kwh 10 meter cable to plug in. Very handy when you go on a long trip and you need to BYO cable😏...With this charger you can set the amount of power you put into the battery. Very handy when you generate your own solar. Mohamad and Emma were very helpfull in setting up the system. Would highly recommend EV POWER HOUSE!
