Mercedes EQC EV Chargers and Cables

The Mercedes EQC’s two electric motors power all four wheels through a one-speed gearbox with direct drive, resulting in a combined output of 402 horsepower and 561 pound-feet of torque. Mercedes estimates that the EQC can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres/hour in under 4.8 seconds. EQC can travel up to 429 KM on a single charge. The EQC features a Type 2 port for AC charging and CCS2 for rapid DC charging, ensuring universal compatibility with all our EV chargers and cables. The Mercedes-Benz EQC can reduce the charging time from 11 hours to 7 hours to recharge the battery from 10 to 100 per cent using AC Chargers or Level 2 home chargers.

Mercedes EQC Charging Speed

The Mercedes EQC has a battery power limit of 11KW. This means that if you use a 22KW charge point, it can only supply 11KW due to the onboard limit. On the other hand, if you charge using a 7.4KW charger, the charge point would limit the charge and only supply 7.4KW.

Note: EV battery size impacts charging time. Larger batteries take longer to charge due to higher capacity, but offer longer distances between charges, potentially shortening total charge time. Keeping the battery between 20% and 80% is advised for faster charging. Also, the (†) On-board charging limits as well as the charge point power limit greatly defines charging times. Low temperatures and fast chargers may slightly increase charging duration, but less relevant in mild climates.
