Kia EV6 EV Chargers & Cables

The KIA EV6 is designed to provide an enjoyable driving experience with its 77.4kWh battery, which offers a range of over 482 kilometres. It’s available in both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, with 225 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 Kmph in just 7 seconds. All of its family variants (Air, GT-line and GT) have Type 2 ports for AC charging and CCS 2 for DC fast charging. This configuration enables the Kia EV6 to charge seamlessly and is compatible with all of our EV chargers and cables. The EV6 can be charged in only 18 minutes with a 235 kW DC charger. Kia EV6 Charging Speed

The Kia EV6 has a battery power limit of 11KW. This means that if you use a 22KW charge point, it can only supply 11KW due to the onboard limit. On the other hand, if you charge using a 7KW charger, the charge point would limit the charge and only supply 7KW.

Note: EV battery size impacts charging time. Larger batteries take longer to charge due to higher capacity, but offer longer distances between charges, potentially shortening total charge time. Keeping the battery between 20% and 80% is advised for faster charging. Also, the (†) On-board charging limits as well as the charge point power limit greatly defines charging times. Low temperatures and fast chargers may slightly increase charging duration, but less relevant in mild climates.
